I’m the guy known for photographing donuts. That’s okay—I’ve decided to embrace it. If you’ve worked with me you probably know that my all-time-favorite flavor is the raised glazed (though recently I have a new fondness for maple).

I also love technology and gadgets. Marketing people might call me an “early adopter.” My curiosity started when I was little and took apart the toaster to see how it worked. In my teens, I started photography classes and it didn’t matter that I didn’t have a fancy camera, I was able to get my 110 camera to do some pretty cool things.

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA, Photography), I moved out west to San Francisco where I’ve been photographing products and people for clients like Apple, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, Dwell Magazine and Macworld. I still get giddy with excitement when I get to see a top secret device or preview a selection of cameras for a product review issue.

I take my camera with me everywhere I go, even mountain biking at Skaggs Point. Every Saturday morning you’ll find me snapping shots of my kids at the donut shop, where despite my guidance, they choose chocolate covered with sprinkles.
