Fellow Clyde Electric Kettle
The market is flooded with electric kettles, but the Fellow Clyde Electric Kettle stands out—not just for its performance, but for its thoughtful design and beautiful color options. In this short video, I used motion to highlight both its features and its simple elegance.
My goal was to keep the movement clean yet playful. I used the Kessler Second Shooter Pro and the KOS software to move the camera and control focus. When adding motion to a product video, there are two key things to consider. First, your motion path—how the movement connects to the shots before and after. Second, your focus—what you’re drawing attention to and how that focus shifts or stays consistent as the camera moves. Using a focus motor on the lens allowed me to precisely map focus changes within the KOS software.
For the sound design, I used Artist.io for the soundtrack, along with button clicks and water pouring effects. Together, these elements helped bring the final video to life.
